Why have I choose to start this blog?
Well, first of all let me introduce myself: I am a foreign student in Germany, studying in a master program. I am 25 years old and I've been studying in Aachen for almost two years now. Aachen is one of the westernmost cities, situated in the North Rhine-Westphalia state of Germany (of course, the official website of the city is always a good starting point to find out all kinds of information about it).

The University, RWTH Aachen (Rheinisch-Westfaelische Technische Hochschule Aachen) is one of the best technical universities in Germany, with over 30 000 enrolled students.

I've decided to share my knowledge and the experience that I gathered with others who might be interested in coming for their studies to Germany or who just want to find out more on the subject. The blog postings will contain useful information about coming to Germany, what have I done when coming here, steps which I consider important for a good integration here as well as personal opinions about the city, the culture, food and people and other facts alike.
